His first victory came on January, 18, 2006 at the Goldestrike World Poker Open where he finished 1st and earned a prize of $10,400. A year later, came his second victory - on August 17, 2007 at the National Poker League UK Open, from where he won $60,928 and the interesting is that in the final table was his son, Josh Gould, too. Peter fought through the tough field of 34 entrants at the Loose Cannon Club in London and finally found himself on final table with his own son. Other famous names which were in the final fields were the top poker players Mel Judah, Roland De Wolfe, Tony G and Jennifer Tilly. Although Peter Gould played with his son, he sent him back to the fourth place. He took his son’s chips then after a short work sent Jeff Buffenbarger on the third place with prize of 12,750 and finally Patrik Selin who took the second place.
In 2006 Peter Gould won in the Goldstrike World Poker Open Season 4 with final prize of $10,400. He also had a big success at the 39th World Series Of Poker 2008 and Event 5, where he finished in the Top 3, earning $245,997.
